Wave Week is a premier Service Leadership Institute for teens. Through our intensive program of leadership development, community service, team-building activities, and summer fun, participants will learn how to plan and execute better service projects and build stronger teams. Wave Week offers both residential and commuter options.
Join STW staff as they guide you and your fellow change-makers through the planning and execution of your own service project. Over the course of five days, you will have a combination of online and offline service time to meet with your group, work independently, and reflect with all of the Ignite Academy participants. At the end of the week, you'll have completed a service project that meets the needs of your local community!
Looking for fun, simple ways to give back that you can complete on your own schedule? Check out the Change-Maker Challenge for a downloadable guide full of dozens of service projects that can be completed with minimal household supplies. While most challenges take an average of 30 minutes, STW will certify up to 20 hours of service for all challenges completed with proper documentation. The guide comes with lists of materials, instructions, and organizations where you can send your final projects (if applicable).
